Actualizacion de Febrero (Leer antes de Instalar)

Bien, estamos ya con la disponibilidad de los Parches de Febrero de 2009 para SharePoint, fueron anunciados en el Blog Oficial y en numerosos sitios, pero, como en todos los Cummulative Updates, la recomendacion es : SI esta experimentando el problema que se detalla en los Parches, entonces SI es conveniente instalarlo, PERO si la plataforma se comporta bien, tienen al menos el Service Pack 1 y/o algun otro Cummulative Update (Caso el de Diciembre 2008) NO se recomienda instalar esta actualizacion, por el hecho de que puede ser peor el Remedio que la enfermedad…

However, unless customers are affected by the problem described in the KB articles, and already have Dec CU applied, we do not suggest them to apply these new update packages.

The “Uber” package for Feb CU is scheduled to be released in the coming weeks. The update packages released now are a subset of the whole Uber package. These update packages do not include DLC (Document Lifecycle), IFS(InfoPath Forms Services) and XLSRV(Excel Calculation Services)  updates. So, if customers apply them directly on a SharePoint installation which does not have Dec CU applied, they will miss the updates of those mentioned components.
