Performance Considerations 1. If possible, unpack and run the VM image on a separate, fast hard drive (7200 RPM or better) from the operating system of the host machine. If this is being done on a laptop, a second internal drive or external eSATA drive works best, though USB 2.0 (make sure it's 2.0, 1.1 is too slow) or Firewire is acceptable. For absolute best performance use a second internal SSD drive.

Outlook 2010 Social Connector

Una de las novedades de Outlook 2010 es el Social Connector que afortunadamente esta disponible solo para SharePoint por el momento ya que esta previsto tener conexion con las redes sociales mas importantes actuales.

InstallFest Office 2010 Beta (Santiago 16/01/2010)

En el Dia de Ayer (Sabado 16 de Enero) tuve la suerte de poder participar ayudando al equipo de Microsoft en lo que fue el Primer InstallFest de Office 2010 Beta, el evento se realizo desde las 10AM en las oficinas de Microsoft Chile, y se dividio en 3 Sesiones de 1.5hs cada uno.

La afluencia de publico fue increible, las 2 primeras sesiones estuvieron repletas, cada uno de los participantes recibio un DVD con las veiones Beta de Office, Visio, Project y SharePoint 2010 y participaron en varias charlas sobre las novedades, en particular tuve el gusto de poder presentar junto a Christian Alvarez alguna de las caracteristicas de SharePoint 2010, asimismo poder compartir con otros MVPs de la comunidad a quienes desde aqui envio un gran Saludo.
